Delete Your REVE Meeting Account

REVE Meeting Applications and Services

All Platforms (Web, Android, iOS, Desktop)

This page explains how to request deletion of your REVE Meeting account and the data associated with it, what is removed, what is kept, and for how long. You do not need to install the app to make the request.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

The fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:

Your account is closed and you are signed out of every device straight away.

Option 2 — Request it by email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@revesoft.com from the email address registered to the account, with the subject “Delete my REVE Meeting account”. We confirm the request is genuine and then close the account. Allow up to 30 days for us to action it.

What is deleted

Permanently erased when the account is deleted, and unrecoverable afterwards:

Data Details
Profile Name, email address, username, password, profile picture and your Personal Meeting ID.
Meetings you created Scheduled and recurring meetings you host, their invitations, reminders and recordings.
Your settings and devices App preferences, saved contacts, signed-in sessions and push-notification registrations.
Sign-in links Any linked Google or single sign-on identity.

What is kept, and why

Some records are also other people’s records, so they are not ours alone to erase. Your name is removed from them — they show “Deleted user” instead — and they can no longer be traced back to you:

Data Why it stays
Chat messages you sent in other people’s meetings The transcript belongs to every participant in that conversation, not only to the sender.
Attendance records for meetings hosted by others Part of that host’s own meeting report.
Recordings made by another host The recording is the host’s, even where you appear in it.
Billing and security records Kept only where law or a contractual obligation requires it.

Retention period

Your account is deactivated immediately on request and you can no longer sign in. Your data is then held for 30 days before it is permanently erased from our systems. The delay exists so that a deletion made in error can be reversed — contact support@revesoft.com within those 30 days to restore the account. After 30 days the deletion is final and cannot be undone. Routine backups are overwritten on their own cycle and are never restored to bring an account back.

Your email address and username are released as soon as you delete, so you can create a brand-new account with them right away. That new account starts empty and is completely separate from the old one — it shares no meetings, contacts or settings. Note that signing up again with the same email means the old account can no longer be restored, since that address now belongs to the new one.

Accounts created by an organization

If your account was provisioned for you by your employer or another organization, that organization owns it and you cannot delete it yourself — the app will tell you so. Ask your administrator to remove it on your behalf.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to close your account to remove data. You can delete individual meetings you created, and individual chat messages you sent, at any time from within the app. To have specific data removed that you cannot delete yourself, email support@revesoft.com.
